Well... I don't even know where to start. We love Sawyer and then we don't and the cycle continues. The first couple nights he barked and barked and barked. Kim and I had to go buy ear plugs so we could sleep. A couple nights later we finally just gave in and so now he is sleeping in our bed. Since he has been in our bed we haven't had any problems sleeping. Even when he has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, he will start to pace and we know right away that it's time to go.
We are litter training him so we don't have to ever have to go outside in the cold while he does his business. After a lot of accidents on the carpet, couch, doggy bed, and tile, he has finally caught on to the concept. To help him learn we reward him with a treat after he does his business in his litter. He understands so well that he will not go to the bathroom unless we are around. So when he does go he walks in, and looks at us while doing his business. Like, "get my treat ready cause I am almost done in here."
Last but not least, we have caught him a couple times trying to hump our feet or legs... We will be putting a quick end to that. So in February, the month of love, Sawyer will have an appointment to get fixed. (Yikes!)

Poor Sawyer... but it's the right thing to do. Snip it...
