Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was absolutely fantastic! My first Mother's Day with my little baby in my arms and it couldn't have been sweeter. She is the greatest gift EVER!! We started off the day with my dear hubby giving me such a wonderful gift. He gave me a necklace. He had Adalyn's name engraved on one of the circles and he left the other circle blank for the baby that we lost Sept. '09. He just put a lot of thought into it and I will treasure this forever!

We then went to church where I got to snuggle my baby and eat ice cream. So fun! Afterwards we went to my parent's house and we got to speak with my brother in Chile. Not only speak, we got to Skype with him! Such an amazing experience. He got to see his niece for the first time and he even teared up a little. He couldn't get enough of her! We are so excited to have him home in 5 months! We finished up there with Chicken Parmesan, which was divine! Then we headed over to Shawn's parents house to have dessert. Ice Cream Pie. Delish!

All in all it was the greatest Mother's Day that I have ever had! I'm so lucky to be a mom and to have the most supportive family ever!
