Almost 4 Months!!

Well it has been awhile since I have blogged. I should have done a 3 month post but now Addie is almost 4 months so I'll just be a little (well a lot) late this month! She has grown so much over the past little while. It's weird, I look back at her pictures when she was first born and it's still her but she looks completely different. I just love that she is becoming such a little person. Shawn and I always say she is no longer a baby, but a tiny little person. She also has quite the personality! We are just loving our little girl and she is such a joy in our lives. Some interesting things about Addie this month are:

• She has found her feet! It's so darling to watch her stare at them and move them around. She also is grabbing for her toes. She hasn't figured out that she can eat her toes yet but I'm sure she will!
• She still loves her hands. She is batting at toys, reaching for toys and people and is constantly sucking on those little hands. It has created quite the slobberfest but is so cute!
• She still loves bath time. Although now she has figured out that she can splash. So she moves around like crazy, splashing in the water.

• She hates to sit. She would rather stand. She has been doing this for awhile now but lately it's all she wants to do. She will stand forever if you let her. One of our favorite things to do is to lay her down, grab her hands and pull her up until she is standing. She LOVES it!
• She is such a little people watcher. She just wants to be involved in everything and loves to watch Shawn and I. When I am burping her, she is staring at Shawn. When she is sitting in her bumbo, she watches the dog.
• Speaking of dog, she loves Sawyer. She could watch him for hours and will track him all over the room to see what he's up to. He loves her too. But that entails a lot of kisses which I don't like.

• She does the funniest thing when I get ready to nurse her. I will pull out the boppy pillow and as soon as she sees it, she starts to laugh. Then I lay her on the pillow and she just laughs and squirms and reaches for me. This little bug loves to eat.
• She also loves watching us eat. She will lick her lips while watching us. I'm excited to start feeding her rice cereal, which will probably happen in the next couple of weeks!!
• She loves it when I come get her after her naps. She gives me the biggest smiles and squirms for me to pick her up.

• She has rolled over from her back to her tummy! She has only done it once but keeps trying over and over again and she is so close every time.
• She still hates tummy time. It's hilarious because she actually is really good at it. She has great neck control and pushes herself up. Then she grunts and moves around. But she will only be fine for about 5 minutes before she is screaming. And she won't roll over to her back. But if I roll her over, then she is all smiles.
• She has this little Minnie Mouse toy that she adores. Whenever we give it to her, she immediately grabs it and hugs it. Then she tries to eat it. She loves that the ears crinkle and that the head has a bell in it. It's really cute!!

I don't have all the pictures that I wanted to post so that will have to wait for another day!
