Easter

We had a pretty uneventful Easter! But we loved it all the same. The easter bunny brought Addie a new dress and a cute stuffed lamb. I wish I had taken pictures of Addie in her dress but I'm a slacker. And the easter bunny brought Shawn and I the first season of Modern Family. We love that show!! I'm really excited for next year when we can color eggs and have Addie be more aware of everything!!

I am so grateful for my Savior and for the reason for Easter. It is such a special holiday and really helps me remember that Christ died for ME. Me individually. That is an amazing blessing and one I hope to never take advantage of. Now that I am a mommy and I have this sweet spirit in my life, my Saviors sacrifice means so much more. I have been given stewardship of one of Heavenly Father's daughters and her elder brother died for her as well. For every mistake that she may make in her life, he suffered for her. That is so amazing and something that I want for Adalyn but something that I, as her mother, can't do. I will be eternally grateful for that. I love my Savior and I know that His church is the only true church. I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides us Latter-Day Saints. I know that the scriptures are true. I know that by following their teachings I will be so happy and be blessed in so many ways that I can't even imagine! I love this church!! And I have never been so happy and satisfied with my life than I am right now.
