Mittens and Twilight

Let me explain for myself. Kim's family made home made root beer. They have this weird tradition to drink maybe half the root beer and then pour the rest into ice cube trays and let it freeze. Once the beer is frozen they put the cubes into a cup and chisel at it and then eat their chiselings like an icee. Anyways the cups get really cold. I had almost frozen my fingers off with my first cup full so I decided that I would use an oven mitten. I am sure the guy who invented it didn't just make it for the oven. I had been eating my fantastic, flavorful, and really addicting root beer cubes and all of a sudden Kim starts laughing at me and telling me how weird and crazy I am for using an oven mitten. I just think she was jealous that she didn't come up with the great idea for herself. 

Now to Twilight... For the last 5 or 6 months or ever since I can remember Kim has been begging me to go to see Twilight with her. I would say, sure thing honey, or anything for you punkin, but when I saw the trailer for the new Tom Cruise movie called Valkyrie I knew that was my chance. I turned to Kim and said, "Okay, I will go to Twilight with you if you will go see Valkyrie with me." She said that it was a deal. I was so excited. So all week I had a someone chirping in my ear asking if we could get tickets for Twilight for Saturday. I agreed that that would be okay. So we got there like an hour early and got seated at the new theaters in Orem. I went to go get popcorn and a Coke but when I got there I saw that it was like $9 dollars! So I turned right around and went back empty handed. To make a long story short... I loved the movie! Call me a girl but it was AWESOME! I was fascinated and as we were leaving I found myself wanting to buy tickets to see it again. Kim asked if I was going to read the books now, I replied with a quick "No, That's why they make movies..." So even though I loved the movie, it wasn't enough to get me read... I loath reading!
