Wow, wow. It has been forever since we blogged. Time to give an update on our lives. Shawn has started his career as an Insurance Agent for Farmers. He is absolutely loving it!! It took him awhile to get past the insane tests to get his license but once he did he had several companies interested in hiring him. We prayed and researched about each company and really felt that Farmers was the best fit for what we wanted. They have been so helpful in getting us started in this career. And Shawn has taken to it wonderfully! He has had great success and we couldn't be happier!
I have been in a sort of limbo for awhile. As most of you know, I miscarried back in September and was a little lost for awhile. All my plans changed in the blink of one day. I have been looking for something to occupy my time that I would be interested in. And a solution came! My mom decided that she wanted to start doing humanitarian projects and I gladly jumped on board. We have tied several quilts, make little blocks and currently we are working on file folder games. It is so much fun to color the games and then assemble everything. I love spending all day on a project that will help others. Its really helped me out these past six months.
Our little pup is doing great. He healed perfectly from his surgery and now is enjoying life and loves driving me crazy! He has so much energy and its adorable! Anyway, I'm really going to try to update our blog more often although we don't have too much excitement going on right now!

I'm glad Shawn found a job he likes. Joey use to sell life insurance and those tests were hard. He passed the first time and like one other person. Sometimes it's hard to change but this change sounds like it's going well.
I'm really sorry about your miscarriage. I felt so bad when I heard. I don't think it matters how far along you are it's still hard. I'm glad you found something great to occupy your time. You are helping so many people out in the world.
