37 Week Appt

I went in for my 37 week appt yesterday. It was pretty uneventful and a bit depressing. Since the last time I went in to get checked I've been having fairly constant contractions and cramping so I was excited to get checked again to see how much I've progressed. Well I really haven't. Still at a 3 but I'm almost completely effaced. So that was good. My doctor also said that Addie is super low. When he checked me he immediately said, "Her head is right there!" Then we talked about how for a first time pregancy, what I am experiencing is ideal. He thinks I still may go early but now it's a definite, I'll be induced on the 18th if she isn't here. Wow, only two weeks away!

On the plus side, Addie is super squirmy and her heart rate was 150, nice and high! My blood pressure was a little high yesterday but I think a lot of that was due to the anticipation. Shawn and I have really been taking this last little while to just spend time together and do a bunch of random things. He will come home early from work and surprise me. Or he'll make me dinner.Or we just go out and run the most random errands to be spontaneous! It's been so fun and has made this last little while go by quite quickly! I'm surprised that it's still going by fast since pretty much everyone I've talked to tells me how much it's going to drag. I'm hoping that these last two weeks go by quickly! I'm so excited to have her here before Thanksgiving!!

We're going to start walking a lot more to see if we can jump start labor but we're waiting until after this weekend because it's my baby shower! I'll post pics and write another post once the shower is over!! 2 WEEKS!!!
