Christmas 2010

We had such a great Christmas this year!! For Christmas Eve, we went to my Aunt's house and had dinner. Afterwards we went to my parents and watch A Christmas Story. A lot of my family had never seen it and so it was fun to watch their reactions. Such a great movie! When Shawn and I got home, Addie was just waking up and so we decided that we wanted to sleep in on Christmas morning rather than stay up late AND get up early. So it was the perfect time to open presents. I know, I know. We didn't wait until Christmas morning. But it was just perfect. Addie is still so little but she loved opening the presents. I just sat her in my lap and she was all smiles.

We started ripping Sawyers present and then gave it to him. He went nuts!! He grabbed the paper and ripped it and dragged it all around the room.

This year we all got jammies. I have never had my own flannel pajama pants so I was so excited when Shawn surprised me with them. Addie got these cute Christmas jammies. I just about died when we put her in these green jammies. They look so freaking cute on her. Plus add the bow and she is such a little doll.

I decided that I really wanted a picture of my and my baby. We kept trying to get her to look at the camera because she was wide awake but she just kept looking at me. It made my heart melt to know that my baby just wanted to see me and she wasn't interested in anything else. I just love her so so much!!

Christmas Day this year was so much fun! We started the day off with sleeping in. Then we headed over to Shawn's sister's house and had breakfast. It was so fun watching the nieces and nephews play with all their new toys. After breakfast we headed to my parents house so that we could talk to my brother in Chile. It is his last Christmas away from home and it was so fun to talk to him. He did sound a little homesick though. For dinner we headed to Shawn's parents and they made prime rib and mashed potatoes. Divine! My favorite meal of the entire year. We all exchanged gifts and just enjoyed each others company.

The best part about this Christmas was the surprise that Shawn got me. After we had opened all our gifts, he pulled out a small box. I was wondering what it was when I noticed that the bow said Losee Jewelers. I immediately knew that it was my wedding ring. It hasn't fit me since just before I got pregnant with Addie. I didn't think that we had enough money to get it resized and all that so I definitely was not expecting it. I couldn't stop crying! Best moment for sure!
